Digging deeper.

​Experimental evidence from a diverse set of forested ecosystems indicates that CO2-enrichment may lead to deeper rooting distributions. Altered rooting distributions are expected to affect important ecosystem processes such as root physiology and soil nutrient cycling. ​​​​
